Brian Depew

Brian Depew is of counsel to Marc J. Bern & Partners LLP to assist with medical and scientific issues in mass tort litigation.

Brian Depew was a partner at Engstrom, Lipscomb & Lack where he represented thousands of injured plaintiffs for 39 years in a wide variety of cases, with a major emphasis on environmental toxic tort and pharmaceutical litigation. Some of his major cases included the Anderson v. PG&E (the case that became the “Erin Brockovich” movie), the Hanford nuclear facility litigation, and numerous ground water contamination cases.

Mr. Depew is licensed in California and admitted to multiple federal district courts throughout the United States. He received his law degree from Southwestern University and has been inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
